Many people confuse neroli with other components of orange. Neroli is an essential oil of orange flowers. It’s rare, expensive and magnificent. It captures a deep intensity and projects it around the room. Virtually all perfumes, if you’re lucky, will be based on petitgrain, which is made from the stems and branches.

Cassie is irresistible stuff. I went through a period of hoarding it because I was always afraid I wouldn’t have enough. Engleurage, the company, sells very high-end and beautiful products.
