There’s an inherent paradox about ambergris perfume: ambergris doesn’t smell like much. To make this perfume, I amplified some of the facets of genuine ambergris and in so doing made a perfume that smells very much like the sea. It contains ambergris tincture, seaweed absolute and oarweed absolute. These are all expensive, but oarweed absolute is even more expensive than ambergris tincture. When you first apply Ambergris, don’t be surprised by a sort of mineral, broken stones effect; this soon turns into a very rich aroma reminiscent of the seashore.
