When I first looked at this book, I didn’t expect it to contain some of the unusual material within. I like the way the book is organized and the way it elucidates the main fragrance families. There are various charts, some showing the relationships between naturals and synthetics, how they differ, and what are the benefits of each. Near the end of the book are accords and recipes. The book itself looks ok, but there’s a fold on the lower right corner and a few smudges and scratches. The creases on this corner go all the way through the pages. The main problem—I just noticed—is that the book is broken on one of the pages in the middle where it lies flat.
