This luxurious large-format creation is almost more about the book than its contents. Apparently it’s quite rare—I bought it at Bergdorf’s in New York City—and expensive. It’s organized around the great perfumers who have developed fragrances along with Frédéric Malle. It also contains some elegant drawings. The only catastrophe is that I spelled something on the front of the dust jacket and the dust jacket, while not torn, is dirty. The book inside is pristine.
