If you’re into old perfumes, this is a great book. It has this chart that relates: Vieilles Infusions, Essence Naturelles, Dissolutions (within which are resinoids and produits chimiques). In addition to being from 1941, there are many references to perfumes from before then. There are articles about fixatives, castoreum and natural musk, to name a few. The book is as old looking as one might expect. While it’s in good shape structurally (there’s no dust jacket), there are cosmetic problems. The inside pages are brown all the way through, but are not threatening to fall apart.
