“Your perfume is your second skin and its smell the air that you breath.” Such is the tone of this charming and interesting volume by two of my favorite authors, Paul and J. Stephan Jellinek. Included is a fascinating chart that maps out where perfumes (in this case, feminine) stand in relation to one another. The chart revolves around two opposing points, hot and cool. On the other axis, we see floral and non-floral. On the corners, are natural, sportif, sophistiqué, and capiteux. In French. The volume has lines on the cover, not scratches exactly, but indentations. The upper right and left corners are wrinkled.
