This book has a very narrow focus, but that being said it contains information I’ve never seen before. It addresses gardenia, magnolia and lily of the valley, paradisone, and saffron. In addition, there is a good dose of ABC’s exegesis on life, philosophy and perfume. For me it was a must because I developed a magnolia perfume. Unfortunately, unless you have access to “captives,” which are chemicals developed by perfume houses and kept in-house , it’s almost impossible to find paradisone. The book is very good with a few almost imperceptible smudges and a very light crease near the lower left corner.
