This extravagant book contains an impressive amount of information. Little of it is technical, but the stories about the major perfumers and their relationships with the great couturiers are fascinating. The book itself is, of course, full color. This copy shows its age a little with the pages just beginning to brown. The back cover has fingerprints that wrap around near the spine—they’re hard to see in the photographs. There’s a small tear in the dust jacket on the top. If anyone is interested more in this book and want photographs, I’ll shoot some tight in.
