Sandalwood Eau de Parfum, Brooklyn Perfume Company
from $40.00
I’ve learned a lot since I first made this perfume. It smells great, it just doesn’t smell that much like sandalwood. In fact, few perfumes do now that the best sandalwood—from Mysore—is (despite the claims of just about anyone who sells the stuff) virtually unobtainable. In those beginning days, I confused the woody aspects of vetiver with sandalwood. Thus, this perfume contains a lot of vetiver and immortelle (helichrysum absolute) which is what gives it its own charm.
