The Essential Oil Maker's Handbook: Extracting, Distilling & Enjoying Plant Essences, 2015 (144 pages)

$25.00

One of the few perfume books that discusses distillation in detail with plenty of pictures of colorful stills. While most perfumers don’t make their own essential oils, it might be tempting after reading this book, especially considering how expensive these ingredients have become. There is considerable discussion of the health benefits of these compounds, but perfume is also mentioned in some detail. The book is in very good shape except for a couple of tiny lines that can be seen when the book is held up to the light. I probably wouldn’t have noticed them if I hadn’t been looking for problems.
