The Practice of Modern Perfumery, Paul Jellinek, (1949/1954)
While this book is obviously dated, it still provides an enormous amount of relevant information. It’s also lovely to see how perfumes were made then—what a large percentage of naturals they contained. Among many interesting entries, is a table of perfume complexes, with the ingredients carefully spelled out. I’ve use it extensively as I’ve tried to recreate perfume from the past.
